How much does a loft conversion cost?
The cost of your loft conversion will depend on many factors. These include; size of the space, number of new rooms, fixtures & fittings, etc. We like to meet each prospective client and understand their exact needs, wants and budget. We’re then able to advise on the best possible loft conversion solution for them.
What other services do you offer?
Alongside loft conversions we also help clients throughout Bristol and across the South West with kitchen installations and house extensions. Here at Lofts Kitchens Extensions we have an experienced team of master builders and highly-skilled craftsmen, here to help with your every house building need.
How long will a loft conversion take to complete?
During initial conversations we outline the different stages of the project to all prospective customers. From architectural drawings to planning permission, build, completion and sign-off. Typically, a dormer loft conversion at the rear of a terraced property will take between four and five weeks to complete. More complex projects will take longer to complete, for example, a gable-end and rear dormer conversion on a semi-detached property will take between five and six weeks to complete. We’ll always outline realistic timeframes at the start of every project we undertake in Bristol or the surrounding areas.
Will I need planning permissions?

For a house extension or loft conversion planning permission us not normally required. However, depending on the size and scope of the project, permission is sometimes required. To book your initial consultation and discuss what you’re looking to achieve with your project get in touch with the team today.
